Chris Murphy is Chief Strategy Officer and co-President of ThoughtWorks, a global technology company with a client-base encompassing Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, governments and NGOs across Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. ThoughtWorks is at the forefront of the agile software delivery movement, having worked for and with its global client base in an exclusively ‘agile’ manner for nearly 15 years. Chris has 20 years' experience across a variety of technical and business roles including as a software developer, a technology and IP lawyer, and in various in-house legal, commercial and strategy positions. He has Bachelors degrees in Science and Law from the University of Melbourne and Masters degrees in Information Technology and Law (Intellectual Property) from Monash University. He is admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor, Victoria, Australia, and as a solicitor, England and Wales.
