Michael is a partner in Allens' Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice. He has specialised in telecommunications and information technology law for over 15 years and advises on all commercial and regulatory aspects of IT, media, telecommunications, outsourcing, procurement, intellectual property, data security and privacy. Michael is well known for staying at the cutting edge of legal developments in these areas for government and corporate clients. He has been quoted by "CIO" magazine in relation to cloud computing and ICT governance, and has recently run numerous seminars on these issues as well as data security for both clients and participants in the ICT industry. In addition to his time with Allens, Michael has spent time as an in-house corporate counsel with a Queensland Government Owned Corporation and has worked in the Technology and Commercial department of a leading London firm.
