Robert is a senior technology and regulatory lawyer with over 25 years' experience.
Robert's areas of expertise include:
• large scale ICT procurement and outsourcing initiatives, communications and media regulation and commercial arrangements in the IT and telecommunications sectors;
• advising suppliers and users in relation to IT procurement and outsourcing, telecommunications regulation and access arrangements, e-commerce, online content agreements, technology commercialisation and supply;
• consumer and competition law; and
• mergers, restrictive trade practices, infrastructure access and competition policy initiatives.
Robert's clients include telecommunications and IT services providers, providers of on-line and remote health services and various corporate and public sector agencies.
Robert is a member of the Law Council of Australia E-Commerce Committee, Australian Country Representative for ITechLaw and a member of the Australian Information Industry Association legal sub-committee.
He is recognised for his IT and telecommunications expertise in various industry directories including Chambers Global 2013; PLC Which Lawyer 2012; Legal Who's Who 2012; PLC Cross-border Outsourcing Handbook 2012. Robert has published articles and papers in various legal and business journals, including the Australian chapter of UK publication "Getting the Deal Through", Telecoms and Media, 2010.
